About This Calculator
BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate) is the number of calories your body needs to maintain basic physiological functions at complete rest. Calculated using the Mifflin-St Jeor equation, the most accurate formula for most people.
TDEE (Total Daily Energy Expenditure) multiplies your BMR by an activity factor to estimate total daily calorie needs.
Macros use a standard 30% protein / 45% carbohydrates / 25% fat split. Protein and carbs provide 4 cal/g; fat provides 9 cal/g.
